Director of Oncology Channel Collaborations 

Position Overview:

The Director of Oncology Channel Collaborations  will lead strategic initiatives and foster partnerships within the oncology and oncology diagnostics sectors across the Western U.S. This role is pivotal in driving growth, building enduring relationships, and achieving organizational objectives by leveraging connections with key opinion leaders (KOLs), major healthcare networks, hospitals, reference labs, and other influential entities.

Location: Western United States

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement high-level strategies and pathways to drive product distribution and collaboration with KOLs, executives, and major healthcare organizations.

  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with multidisciplinary clinical societies, GPOs, integrated healthcare networks, advocacy groups, and large oncology treatment centers.

  • Market Expertise: Become an authority in the company's technology and service offerings, representing the company to top-level stakeholders including KOL physicians, community medical directors, and C-suite executives.

  • Business Development: Create and execute plans to rapidly distribute products, recruit and educate key opinion leaders, and develop strategic accounts and lab partnerships.

  • Team Collaboration: Assist in recruiting and training Directors of Oncology Channel Collaborations, and provide guidance to field teams to maximize collaboration opportunities.

  • Performance Optimization: Utilize market assessments and field input to implement best practices, attend relevant trade shows and meetings, and focus on achieving exceptional revenue growth.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required; an MBA is preferred.

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in strategic oncology sales, with a background in medical or biological sciences preferred. Experience in Pathology, Oncology, and Laboratory sales is advantageous.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven Success: Demonstrated track record in market development, product launches, and revenue growth.

  • Sales Acumen: Award-winning sales record and market knowledge in oncology, surgery, or pathology laboratory sectors.

  • Leadership: Effective team player, coachable, and able to lead with initiative and strategic thinking.

  • Problem Solving: Creative problem solver with strong time management skills and the ability to navigate complex situations.

  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Gmail, and Salesforce.com.
